
okay, it's been a while. i feel like i've been gone for years! sorry bout the banding but the jpg format really ruins the shading here. the tif version looks nice and smooth.
in the last two months been out of town for almost 1/3 of the time. jeez. still recovering from Siggraph - very cool stuff there - where i was helping the e frontier folks out with poser demos at their booth. wonderful people. had a great time. :-)
anyway, decided to take an hour or so to goof around with Jesse. i do like how she renders. looking forward to seeing what morphs and accessories are available for her these days now that i've crawled out from under my rock for a bit.
in this one, i was just diddling with the skin shader node (and sub-surface scattering effects used on her 'body suit thingy') just to get a feel for what those shader nodes do. i like the skin shader ALOT. also tried out the point lights. 'bout friggin time we got point lights! i'm thinking that i'll be doing more production renders in Poser now that you can do all this cool stuff. if we can just get network rendering... LOL
