concept for a cd, i think it was, for a band who went by the name of... Minster Hill. we never got any further than this and i'm really not sure what happened to the band but the resulting image is one of my favorites!
the scene was rendered in bryce, and if you look carefully you should be able to spot: 2 men, 2 women, a dragon, a deer, a cow, a mule, and a bear. yup, not kidding.
i really had fun with this one and came up with a few variants even, tho this one is probably the one i think most cohesive. the variant on the left, the one with balloons, is kind of cool because the balloons are actually each of the figures/animals present in the tree. not sure what the point is but it was fun.

"Hiya! Howard of Minster Hill here. Yes this was done years ago and it was to be for our band's first prog record which, obviously never happened. THis was fantastic work and when we finally get around to our first prog record hopefully in the next year we still plan on using this as artwork! Hope all is well! Howard "
"it was very abstract but boring"
"Hey, I think I have been there before. Mendocino?"
"wow man this is amazing. it reminds me of this one part from that movie "What Dreams May Come" such a creative movie in my eyes."
"wow, what a cool tree dude! trippy!"
"Two words: Morbidly Delicious"
"wow!!!"
"Hey, I just wanted to tell you that I think your art is awesome. I've sent the link to some of my friends because I liked it so much. I was wondering how I could learn how to do this kind of art? If you take a peek at my homesite you'll realize that I'm an artist at heart although I don't think I'd ever do it for money cause it would take away from the enjoyment for me. Anyway write back to me! Thanks ~Harmony~"
