concept render for Phil Brucato's Deliria. we ended up not using it - i was never happy with how she turned out. what i was after was catching a suspended moment in time while the angel who brings the cloak of night to the world paused for a second in her task to glance up at us while she was doing her thing. i think it's the pose - which doesn't quite convey the graceful fluidity i'm after. we'll have to go back and study some master's sketches and perhaps give it another shot.
the "jewelled version" is just having fun with a low res render and some photoshop filter. sadly, i think i like the cheapy version better LOL.
