Strange, Weird and Fetish Computer Art Gallery

well, what a nasty week this was. *sigh*

decided to let everyone bugger off and closeted myself away with bryce for a few hours to relax. took the opportunity to play with some alien looking fractal meshes that i'm considering putting together into a weird poser/bryce/vue .obj accessory pack.

i like the shapes so far - bizarre stuff that looks like it will work scaled up to building size or down to furniture.

of particular interest is that the objects in this scene are 3-dimensional fractals. the clouds are fractals. the textures applied to the objects including the water are all fractal based algorithms too.

this actually ended up in the Persephone's Dream's Opposition CD project. Who Knew?

nuther test render... still playing with my new shapes. just gimme a new .obj file and i'm happy for days -- guess that makes me a really cheap date, no? :-)

this view is a little bit different view than the last one but shows off the onion-dome shaped 'temple' object much better.

the 'water' pool boundry is actually the onion shaped temple's bottom - the onion shaped temple flipped 180 degrees.

everything you see in this picture is a fractal. the objects/temples are 3-D fractals, the water is a fractal formula, the rock texture is also a fractal based texture. pretty neeto, hey?
