whoah! talk about blast from the past. we did this way back in 1996 or so (yeah, i'm that old, sadly) when the wacom graphics tablets first came out. they were a ridiculous amount of money back then and i managed to get one after being on a waiting list for months.
this was done 'before the internet'! really. i was one of the wiz-ops for a compuserve (remember THAT??) art forum that looked down on 'digital' media as being inferior and cheap LOL. although i do admit that the other artists in the forum were WAY more talented than me - we're talking amazing talent - guys like Dik Liu, and John Snyder, and the guy who started the forum whose name escapes me at the moment. anyway very inspirational place way ahead of its time. back then we connected via telephone and paid roughly $9 and HOUR for connection time!
so, anyway, i tried my hand at 'drawing' but using the computer. in 1996 this was just not done by any 'serious and worthwhile' artist and i was considered quite the idiot for even contemplating that real art could be created using such a ghastly tool as the computer. now i don't profess to make 'real or serious' art so in my case they were right. LOL
years later, after i discovered Poser, i had some fun 'freshening up' the image by adding a variation of the cosmic face. the new face lift gave the image a very creepy feel. more goulish than alien.
then, we did another slight variant for the Prog 4 You CD sampler.
