first ever attempt (done long long ago) to merge a poser rendered figure into the background somewhere else. this was before image based lighting...
this image started off as an innocent fractal and after much caffeine and button mashing with layer upon layer of stuff we cobbled together this 'spyder nest'.
my original intent was to create a siren who was actually the spider luring the unsuspecting into her lair. but i don't think she's quite right. i wanted something stiff and 'insectoid' that was pretending to be humanoid. she's not quite it.
you can see the original fractal, then a few steps into the process of 'making the nest'

"the siren's cheekbones seems a little too large and her face and body are kinda paleish-like but i like this artwork it\'s very colorful and imaginative."
"Dem Bones, Dem Bones, Most comments dont get the use of computer modeling."
"thats just creepy"
"i knew what it was about before i even read the title, this is really imaginative"
"the idea you have goin is working. the background is taking over your foreground. the lastcomment by kitti neko was sort of right. the face looks to flat and dead. the perspective is off plus she is looking right at the viewer with inviting eyes but the body language says im sexy and alive help me. its like the face and body are not connected."
"Her lips look to fat...or her cheekbones are too high or SOMEthing. You shoulda put more skeletons around her...I like the skeletons. ^-^"
