Strange, Weird and Fetish Computer Art Gallery

another classic example of not knowing when to quit LOL. i had this fairly cool image of a 'crystal skull' that i had rendered in Bryce that was submerged in water with very cool lighting. i really liked the colors so i just kept fiddling and mashing on buttons till i came up with variations upon variations of images you'd never guess were related!

this image was eventually used to illustrate the Persephone's Dream song Hyperspace Minefields, on their Oppostion CD.

i bet you'd never have been able to guess that this 'fish head' is a direct derivitave of the original VooDoo Glow Skull image. ha! we ran the image through a polar coordinate translation and then enhanced what we saw, which was the gaping maw of a huge fish-like creature. the 'humanoid' figure inside could be either a person or, like the angler fish, a lure to entice unsuspecting creatures to come investigate the 'body'.

ok so this one is obviously the image with a 'lead glass' like overlay. an interesting tidbit about the pattern of the 'lead' is that it's a fractal! cool, huh?
